Most women long for more closet space, but few are lucky enough to have a closet that can double as a bedroom (aka:
Carrie's new closet in Sex and the City). Just because our closets might be on the smaller side does not mean that they should lack style or organization. Here are a couple ideas that will leave you loving your closet:
- Paint or wallpaper the inside of your closet with a pretty color or pattern.
- Organize shelves with boxes. Label each box for easy finding.
- And if your closet doesn't have shelves... add them.
- Hang a shoe organizer on the inside of your closet door (these are also great for holding belts, scarves, tights and other accessories).
- If you have enough room, put a small dresser in your closet for instant organization. Create a vanity by hanging a small mirror above.
Having a more beautiful and organized closet will (almost) eliminate your dream of a bedroom-sized walk-in.
