Good Style Design: Steely Grey Bedroom

Last week I posted one of the many Good Style Design living room inspiration boards, and next up is the bedroom. This look is one of my favorites for the bedroom, because it's calm, neutral, and stylish. It has a transitional feel, meaning it's the perfect balance of contemporary and traditional. The mirrored night stands give a touch a glamour without getting too "girly", and the patterned area rug adds visual interest to the space. The owl lamp finishes off the room by adding an element of fun.

Valentine's Day Accessories

Like it or not, it's Valentine's Day tomorrow. Single or attached, everybody loves love (even the self-proclaimed Valentine's-Day-haters secretly do). So give in to the pink and red holiday and wear an outfit with some heart tomorrow. Now I'm not suggesting you wear these colors from head to toe, but subtle accents can go a long way.

DIY Tile Coasters

I'm a big fan of re-using, re-purposing, and re-styling just about anything. So when I came across a collection of beautiful mismatched tiles in my sample collection, I knew that I had to put them to use. I quickly realized that they were the perfect size for a set of coasters. No two are alike, which to me is the best part. To create your own set of tile coasters visit the tile section of a nearby Home Depot or Lowe's. Stick with a general color scheme to tie your collection together. Make it a fun and easy weekend DIY project that doesn't requiring much DIY-ing.
