Casual Winter Dresses
Dresses are probably the easiest outfit around. They're generally pretty comfortable, and provide an entire outfit in one piece. I am especially into dresses in the wintertime when they can be paired with leggings and boots. Materials and patterns like tweed, plaid, velvet, and wool are perfect for this wintry look. Below is a round-up of a few of my favorite casual winter dresses.

Black + White Outfit: Day to Night
Like it or not, Fall is right around the corner, so it's time to start getting your wardrobe ready for the new season. One of my favorite outfits is a classic pair of dark jeans with a white button down. It's perfect for a polished day outfit, and transitions into night by swapping (and adding) a few accessories.
How to take this outfit from day to night:
How to take this outfit from day to night:
- Ditch the sunglasses and scarf
- Add a necklace and chunky cuff bracelet
- Tuck in the blouse (or just the front) and add a skinny belt
- Swap out your daily handbag for a stylish clutch
- Switch out day shoes (love these leather Converse), for heeled booties

Fall into Winter Outfit
Like it or not it's getting colder by the day. It's time to break out our winter clothes and embrace the change of seasons. One thing that's helping me with the transition is an amazing new pair of Frye boots. I've been eyeing this particular pair for years now (I'm clearly not an impulse buyer), and I finally took the plunge and made the purchase. After deliberating what to wear them with, I decided that pairing this style of boot with skinny jeans and an over-sized chunky sweater is definitely the way to go. A simple shirt and coat finish off this comfortable outfit. Throw on a small crossbody bag and classic Ray-Bans and you're ready to brave the elements. Who knew that pretty new boots were all that's needed to make winter a little more bearable?
