End of Summer Style
According to the popular saying, white pants are a style taboo once Labor Day has passed. So give your white pants a final run before putting them away until the next summer season rolls around. Whether you are heading to the beach or hanging by the pool this Labor Day weekend, celebrate the end of summer by looking the part. Top your white bottoms with a casual chambray shirt for a light and breezy look. Add coral and gold accessories to incorporate some color and finish off the outfit.

Bathrooms With Color
Bathrooms are typically the smallest rooms in a home, which means that they provide the ideal opportunity to experiment with bold color and pattern. If you're feeling extra daring, re-cover your bathroom walls with a vibrant wallpaper or paint color. If that seems a little too risky, then start by incorporating color in smaller ways. White beadboard, tile, or wainscoting are great ways to break up the amount of color on your walls. Install it on the bottom half of the walls and select a bold paint or wallpaper for the top half. Finally, the least risky way to bring color into a bathroom (or any space for that matter) is through accessories. Select a bath mat, towels, and artwork in coordinating colors for an accent that can easily be switched out.

White Wedding Cakes
In my opinion, less is usually more. So when selecting your wedding cake consider opting for all white. Add interest through textures, flowers, and other small details. Fresh flowers are one of the easiest ways to turn a simple white cake into a jaw-dropping masterpiece. Nature provides beauty that can't be recreated!

Painted Floors
Sometimes there's no need to replace your old floors for a completely new look. If you're looking for a big change but don't want to invest in replacing your current flooring, then paint might be your answer. For a pop of color, paint your floors a glossy solid color. For added visual interest try creating some sort of design. Stripes or a chevron pattern are simple yet eye-catching. If you're feeling really bold, go for a large geometric or floral pattern. Wood floors can easily be painted, and little did I know you can even paint a tiled floor -- check out Love Stitched for a great tutorial!

This living room with traditional architecture is infused with color and a bold eclectic personality. It takes a fearless soul to hang drapery panels in such differing patterns, but it works beautifully here because the same fabrics are repeated in upholstery and throw pillows.
An unexpected burst of color comes from the lavender console in this coastal décor. The colors coordinate with the patterned wallpaper.
Brilliant pink and mint green make this great room come alive. The artwork creates a vibrant focal point, and I love the massive cage light fixture!
I love the colors in this living room! The pink tufted sofa does a great job of anchoring the space. The designer used an earthy palette to compliment the pops of color.
A collection of throw pillows brings a comfortable and casual vibe to this sitting area. The combination of fabrics is bold and interesting.
A contemporary country space is awash with color on a white canvas. The varied textiles give a global look, and are successfully combined with pretty folk art designs.
Vintage modern pieces and brilliant color make for a comfortable open living space. I love the bits of blue that are incorporated through the acrylic pendant and set of dining chairs.
