Dreaming of Summer
The recent unseasonably warm weather has me longing for summer! This little number is perfect for a casual summer night out. Pair an off-white crocheted dress with comfortable wedges, stacked gold bangles, and a small but functional handbag, and you're ready to go. Switch out wedges for a pair of flat sandals and you've a great daytime look.

The Perfect Closet
Most women long for more closet space, but few are lucky enough to have a closet that can double as a bedroom (aka: Carrie's new closet in Sex and the City). Just because our closets might be on the smaller side does not mean that they should lack style or organization. Here are a couple ideas that will leave you loving your closet:
- Paint or wallpaper the inside of your closet with a pretty color or pattern.
- Organize shelves with boxes. Label each box for easy finding.
- And if your closet doesn't have shelves... add them.
- Hang a shoe organizer on the inside of your closet door (these are also great for holding belts, scarves, tights and other accessories).
- If you have enough room, put a small dresser in your closet for instant organization. Create a vanity by hanging a small mirror above.

Dramatic Black Walls
Recently I've come across quite a few spaces that have one thing in common... amazing black walls. Some of you might be doubting my design judgement right now, but trust me on this one, a little black paint can do wonders for a room. My personal favorite way to pull off black walls is to make them pop against bright white trim. Or go for a more monochromatic look and paint the trim black. Add light-colored wall accents, furniture and flooring in a space with black walls and the contrast will speak volumes. See for yourself...

Tiffany and Co. Favorites
At least once or twice I've pointed out to my boyfriend, Ryan, that he's a very lucky man because I'm not typically a huge fan of jewelry. Sorry honey, that may not be entirely true. Over the past few years I have been coveting some of the simple sterling silver classics from Tiffany and Co. Every time I stumble upon their website I seem to find another piece of jewelry that I end up adding to my mental list of "wants". Luckily for Ryan there haven't been any diamonds added to this list (yet).
Slowly but surely I've begun building my jewelry collection, and it turns out that maybe I'm a bit of a jewelry-loving girl after all. Now I'm not saying that I'll ever be one of those of those ladies that has a dresser full of jewelry (yes, they exist), but a few everyday staples are definitely acceptable. As of recently, my daily jewelry consists of a few stacked rings, simple stud earrings, and an oversized watch. My motto is that if you're going to spend a significant amount of money on jewelry, make sure the pieces are simple and of a quality that will last. The pieces below can be mixed and matched, and will remain stylish for years to come.

Cool Kid Rooms
Growing up, my bedroom was decked out with lavender and white striped walls, colorful florals, and just the right amount of girly-ness. Although it was beautiful, it didn't quite have the "wow" factor that I've noticed in so many kid's rooms recently. With creative bunk bed ideas, indoor hammocks, and even a place for a magic show, nearly any imagination could run wild in these super-cool spaces.
