Favorite Patterns: Dots

Dot patterns have been around for a very long time, and show no signs of going anywhere. Recently they seem to be popping up everywhere from wallpapers to bedding, and more. Dots are a whimsical pattern that can add a fun, relaxed element to any space. Try incorporating this pattern into your home by wallpapering an accent wall or reupholstering an existing piece of furniture. DIY Tile Coasters

I'm a big fan of re-using, re-purposing, and re-styling just about anything. So when I came across a collection of beautiful mismatched tiles in my sample collection, I knew that I had to put them to use. I quickly realized that they were the perfect size for a set of coasters. No two are alike, which to me is the best part. To create your own set of tile coasters visit the tile section of a nearby Home Depot or Lowe's. Stick with a general color scheme to tie your collection together. Make it a fun and easy weekend DIY project that doesn't requiring much DIY-ing.
